Sculpting a Head

A hands-on clay workshop with School 21 GCSE students, designed as a preparatory project for creating large-scale masks. Open to all students and specifically adapted to support young people with special educational needs, the sessions encouraged tactile exploration and a deeper understanding of the sculptural forms of the head. Each student chose a favourite famous person and created their own clay head, combining personal inspiration with foundational skills in three-dimensional art.
